Overview

Third Person Speed Chess is a rough prototype for a turn-based system where one player at a time chooses where to position their characters in the level. Apart from providing interesting gameplay development opportunities, I also used this project to sharpen my blueprinting skills.

 

As my experience with interfaces was lacking, I set the goal of producing this prototype without using the cast node at all. It was also the first of my projects that employed a more organized technical design document establishing the various unreal domains.​​
